Arraial D'Ajuda - Surroundings
Around a small church built in the year 1551, a city has grown that still maintains the concern in cultivating the beauty of its history and architecture. Colorful houses adorn the Arraial d'Ajuda, giving the village its characteristic lively climate with shops, galleries and cafés. At night Mucugê street we find bars with live music, typical restaurants and high gastronomy, charming galleries and clubs. In the highest part the old church remains, telling history to those who pass by and offering one of the most beautiful views of the blue sea of this city.
When walking along the extensive beach you can enjoy different landscapes with its beautiful cliffs. Through the white sands of Arraial d'Ajuda, tents roam the afternoon with lots of music and entertainment - local and international - that appeal to all ages.

Formed at the junction of the river with the sea, the village of Caraiva is characterized by an indescribable natural beauty. Walking along the sand streets you can still find Indians there. The afternoon by the river provides the view of a beautiful sunset in the cozy bar.
It could not be by chance that the region is known as the land of discovery, listed as a world natural heritage by Unesco in 1999.
